Funny fact – on the Super Mario box, read only the letters with sparkles, Then you get these letters (in that order): U R MR GAY.

A few good standouts, but mostly a lot of fail here. Less is almost always more on a cover. Some of these covers are busy, poorly laid out, and not aesthetically pleasing at all. Oblivion is a good example of a solid cover: minimalist, but eye-catching. I think Borderlands is the best cover I’ve seen in a LONG time: it completely sums up the tone of the game, it’s clever, it’s well laid out with the focus on pretty much one thing, and the colors are perfect.
