Alex you’re the man! I really love your tutorials/works.
that’s really sweet! but unfortunately it’s not free and you use Maxon Cinema 4D
I think I’m going to become a plus member right now! Looks awesome!
I don’t normally comment on anything here, I usually just observe. I, however, have to say the very first word that came to mind when I saw the thumbnail alone was, “wow.”
This looks great man.
i love it, reallly great tut
You can always count on Alex Beltechi to share how he made his latest (and again on of his greatest) artworks with us… Kudos.
Now Envato people when are you going to compile all these awesome tutorials in a book?
Thats literally SWEET!
Great tutorial, good step by step instructions. . . and the explanations are also nice for how and why you’re choosing to do each step. Gonna go look for some more of your tutorials now.
thanks again!
_T
Will have to download and read the tutorial before I can comment on the tut but I love the final effect! Great job!
Suddenly, I want my Plus membership again.
I love this tutorial. one of the best
This looks amazing, now if only I had Cinema 4D… :/
Wow, this one does look great. I normally don’t think some of the plus Tuts are worth it, but this one might just convert me…
oooo yummy…love the details of this, especially how the candy cane is twisted the way it really is..
I’m so glad I got that PLUS membership! Can’t wait to try this one out!
Looks great. This looks like it has more work in cinema 4d than photoshop though, so shouldn’t it be in cgtuts?
Indeed, C4D consists in about 60% of this tutorial. On the other hand, it’s aimed at illustrators and designers, an audience that suits Psdtuts+, rather than Cgtuts+.
OHHHH YEAH ive been wanting a tutorial on thisss!! THANK YOUU!
alex has the best tuts!
great effect.
i have to buy C4D
Wow, this looks awesome. Very great tuts! I don’t have C4D but will it still work if I try it on Maya? :/
Any 3D software will do. The method though will likely be different.
I’m sorry but is this not PSD tuts? If i wanted tutorials on Cinema 4d then i’d look up tutorials for that alone.

How does this qualify as a PHOTOSHOP tutorial with so much 3D work?
Congrats Alex! tasty tutorial, perfect for Christmas holiday
look nice, 2bad this “photoshoptutorial” yet, again, the main piece is in fact, not done in photoshop
You may change the background-color to some sweet colors, orange or red. blue, looks not very happiness, just for Christmas.
Ace, seriously one of the best if not best tut on the site; the technique for the candy /chocolate look is priceless.
Hope you got more of these 3d to photoshop manipulations !
Grtz Matt
