tnx
Nice
i was wondering how i can cancel my plus membership. it automatically deducts money from my card every 3 months. as i don’t need it anymore, but who know if i get a job again. thanks
Our support can help you with this http://envato.helpserve.com/
lol wasn’t someone just talking about all these surreal tutorials..
Anywho, what would be the meaning by this graphic or its purpose? I’ve gotta get work like this kid!
I think this tut is different to all the others though. The others have been about tacky photomanipulation of cliché subjects, rather than learning to combine both 3D and 2D to create a mac killing wallpaper
Pretty cool
I love the outcome , I’m a big fan of saad since his first tut , and i have to say that is some impressive work … well done .
Different and interesting!
oh god
thanks to close this tut for non members
horrible result
fucking disgusting. in a bad way.
I’ve loved this wallpaper ever since seeing it on desktopography.com and although I’m not a mac fan, it really does look good on my dad’s 24″ Cinema display lol. Once I get some spare money, I will seriously consider going plus just to see how this was made.
What? the who made this, and do they understand physics, why are the things being drawn into the lava, when it is infact ‘splashing’ out ??
lol i like the little dudes at the bottom made me laugh, but the large hands rub me the wrong way :/
I don’t think the hand looks good. Personally I think the hand should be taken out.
The desktop thing, honestly, did not blend. ‘Nuff said.
sign #preposter
maybe some nice 3d but nothing else!
neither plus nor good tut,
wtf? this was supposed to be quality? look at the enlarged image, kinda amateur.
- some stuff liquified or smudged, looking pretty bad
- lava painted with brush, ugly brush lines
- looks like bad use of displacement map on hands
- total lack of depth
- the only thing that might be interesting is hand rendering, but that’s all
so what makes it plus? sorry, ewww…
it’s pretty funny…i have clicked on some peoples links under there avatars …people who normally criticize everything…and SURPRIZE they are pretty noobs!!!! worst than me…and i’m pretty noobish myself…so people please save this stupid remarks and instead exercise more is ps
…just an advice
@ams if you actually read through the tutorial you would see that the hands are not processed using liquify, smudge, painting, or displacement maps. The effect is much more unconventional than that, if I had to guess I would say thats what makes it plus
The computer stuff look like it was liquified, not the hands.
Btw. Saad you have some interesting works, i didn’t expect such a weak piece from you. Hope next tutorial will be better, I like the renders in your works.
The techniques seem useful, but the final image leaves me asking “Why?” Not the intellectual “why” that really wants an answer, but the sarcastic, disappointed “why” that shakes it’s weary head. I must say, almost everything on psdtuts looks great and is helpful. Every once in a while, though, I’m left asking “why?”
looks sick…
last mac standing ;D
Amazing Good Luck man
Such a childish work!! I am shocked to know that it is Plus. OMG
i know this is a PLUS ,when i saw this picture …it’s nice
I think the concept is good – although the rendering and digital painting could have/should have gone further. The hands/arms are too see through and don’t quite evoke “lava” – i believe that using the 3D modeling program and morphing the object and putting some bump maps on it would have gone a long way into finishing the idea out. Also some of the elements in the scene were poorly placed as in perspective mind you, not aesthetics. If you’re going to combine 3D and 2D – then go all the way. Use your 3D camera and the free 3D models out there to incorporate consistency in the perspective of the piece. Also lighting is an issue. But like I said – the concept is good.
Considered going +plus. im just wondering, when they say detailed, how detailed? Because i dont want to miss a single step!
I have some perfect use for those hands on one of my own manips
