Download 9 Layered .Psd Artworks from SlashTHREE

This week we have an extra special gift for Plus members. Pulled from the SlashTHREE design community’s gallery and just released ‘Expressions‘ book, we have 9 complete artworks in Photoshop format available exclusively to Plus members. Each artwork .Psd is exactly as it was left on the artist’s computer, meaning every layer, tweak, setting, technique, modification and style can be studied. If you like an effect or technique in one of these artworks, you have a rare opportunity to peek under the hood and see exactly how it was created.

You can also modify these artworks as you please – add, subtract and edit. Something you would have done differently? Do it! Hit the jump to see each artwork. To download them immediately, join Plus for just $19 (that’s $1 per complete artwork)!

About Expressions

Psdtuts+ is proud to be the prime sponsor behind SlashTHREE’sExpressions‘ art collection, featuring 58 pages of art and writing from the SlashTHREE design community. To thank us for our support, SlashTHREE have provided us with these 9 artworks from ‘Expressions’ and its contributing artists to pass along to our Plus members. Our financial support for the project was only made possible by our Plus community. Thanks guys!

Wow – this is just too good!
    Thanks so much guys!
I am really thankful to be a Plus member – these sorts of things are invaluable to someone learning as they go, like me.

  2. Jose says:

    so good!

  3. ev4n says:

    awesome!

  4. Micah says:

Makes me want to just quit…

  5. Edwin says:

    Awesome artwork between them!

  6. Very excited at first, but after opening a few of the PSD’s all of the interesting parts have been flattened anyway and a couple of them are completely unstructured.

    Shame :(

The artworks are exactly as they were left on the artists’ computers. If you can see improvements you would make to their workflow, you’ll be learning 2 things:

      1. Even really talented artists aren’t perfect!
      2. What you would have done differently!

      • Sushimoron says:

        I totally agree. :)
you might get really surprised how these artworks are done.

        by the way,
I guess the layers that were flattened were necessary or something.

  7. Aaron Moody says:

Oh wow, some of these look awsome!

  8. marcusss says:

Tuts+ You bastards, somebody get me an account :D!

  9. Diesel Laws says:

@ James – Well you can’t always structure art.

  10. Melody says:

The squirrel one cracks me up..I used to have a pet squirrel lol..

  11. Joe says:

    PSD #8 Is sick!
Unfortunately I don’t have a credit card or what not to buy a membership and learn any of these :(
For the most part I like all of them. Nice work =]

  12. Dullface says:

Really sweet to see how people work, but some of them really need to start using groups more. So disorganized its mad :o
They must spend forever just finding the right layer..

    • hahaha guilty as charge xDDD.. Im sorry (not you would learn much from my psd tho ;o) Its mostly my weird brains and my tablet..

    • Ben Stanley says:

When you are the one creating it, you know where all the layers are… It’s like how if you walked into someone elses kitchen you wouldn’t know what was where and in what cupboard or drawer. It’s the same thing when opening someone elses PSD I guess…

  13. brodi/dominik siemon says:

sorry guys for not using groups! i never did and i think i will never use groups :(

  14. Diego SA says:

    Wow, nice artworks!

  15. heatstroke says:

i cant find the tutorial files to these psds (if there are none, then the link in PSDtuts plus is misleading). This is a a great share, unfortunately almost all of the layers are flattened in the psd files, so that it is impossible to figure out the layer styles applied. So im not learning as much as I could have from this…

  16. In mine there’s not a single layer flattened, every element is named and the whole psd is structured with groups, so go ahead and download! :P

  17. Master says:

great, now they hide when an article is for plus members

  18. games awy says:

    awesome nice work

  19. Andrew says:

cool work but … i can’t see the tutorials because i’m not a member and i don’t have money …
