New Exclusive High Resolution Photoshop Brushes
This new CS4 Photoshop Brushes Pack is created by Sean Hodge and is available for Psd Premium members today. This is a set of 18 Brushes, which are all high resolution at around 2500 pixels by 2500 pixels. This set of Scribbly Ink Floral Brushes were designed in Illustrator, but have an organic feel, and some have a bit of a Rorschach inkblot test feel to them. If you put these brushes to use, feel free to leave a link to the work in the comments below. Enjoy!
Note: Along with the brushes, EPS files of each design are included, and for those of you with Illustrator CS4 I’ve included the AI source file as well, in case you want to experiment with the Scribble settings, or export the designs at different resolutions. These brushes are made for large scale high-resolution work. You may want to create a set at a lower resolution for use in your own collection. Big thanks to Alvaro for reviewing these brushes and for the tips!

great brushes Sean. Thanks
not bad
is it, or is it not, “psd TUTS”?
it has been four days without a tutorial now, and this isn’t new… it has been pretty slow with regular non-plus tutorials for a while now. i’m confused.
brushes aren’t bad. it would be interesting to see a tutorial about how they were made

Don’t be a jerk. Nobody owes you anything.
@Dave – We usually have about 3 tuts on the blog each week, which we did have this week. They were posted back to back though, which is unusual.
I’ll be posting a tutorial on making this kind of design and these type of brushes soon, only it will be over on Vectortuts+ because 95% of the process is Illustrator based for these brushes. Thx!
I like this site alot, I feel that the amount of TUTS is awesome. I personally really enjoy the interviews. They help to give me insight on projects that I am currently workin on. Thank You PSDTUTS!!
Great set
I’ve pretty much neglected my other brushes (aside from basic) ever since starting digital paintings..
You should put a tutorial up using the brushes…
Very GOOD
I’d say this brush is different. Different stuff are always interesting. Interesting things always catch my attention and of course, if I adore, it just drives me crazy!!! So, coooool!
great Share Sean, thank you!
Scwheet brushes! Hey, wherebouts in the outskirts of Orlando did you move to? Haha I live right on the northwest edge in Apopka
Welcome to the area!
@Ben. I live in Lake Mary. So, we’re really close.
Also, I’m glad people are enjoying the brushes. Thx.
Here is a link to a tutorial over at Vectortuts+ that explains many of the techniques used to create these brushes http://vector.tutsplus.com/tutorials/tools-tips/how-to-use-scribble-effects-in-illustrator/
