Create a High Flying Skater Illustration

Evrything is for plus membership. And you kinda get 1 tutorial per month, and guess what, you have to pay a subscription fee of 9$/month. That would be 9$ / tutorial. And this tutorial doesen’t look to be worth it. So i’ll pass. :P
I think it says in the tutorial Mikkel, but I havent looked at it yet. Anyways, ONE MORE REASON TO GET PSD + MEMBERSHIP.

what you do here is just pathetic. It’s the actuall 2nd rip of the artworks of peter jaworowski from hejz.com. First the text in fire as a rip of his nike ads i think and now this.

Agreed about the skateboard – it’s definitely lost and needs more emphasis, but it’s a nice tutorial, so thanks for posting.
I am glad I subscribed for PSDTuts PLUS it has taught me much more techniques in Illustrator.

The design is cool. But it makes skateboarding seem real fruity and not the life-style that is attached with it…
how can you people like this? there is absolutely no concept, no thought process, no nothing. its just like all the other crap floating around the web that follows this style.
3d letters and florals, we get it. move on. do something new.
I have one question why pay for a + membership for this…. if you’ve actually gone through the REST of the FREE tuts of here then :S you should have gained the knowledge to do this from the 3D lettering, to adding all the generic (it seems) effects,
Just not feeling it. Sure it took a lot of effort. I mean I can see me pulling out some good tricks out of it, but I can find it without even paying for the plus. Final image looks good. Just thinking not a plus tutorial.
