first of all I would like to thank everyone for your comments. I have to admit this magical yet a bit odd transparent stone is definately a wonder of nature that I truly wish I could explain *g* Just kidding. My fault – but nothing that changes the issue of this “tutorial”. It’s not about explaining one effect or making a perfectly realistic composing (there are no grunge texture in real life).

The title is also just totally ironic and the picture is completely stereotype (and I also wrote that in the tutorial itself) but in the end I hope it can show you how to approach something like that, that is in fact a bit different to the current vibrant color artworks (that I like too).

And yes I try to sell it to Dragonforce – business baby *g*
