Interface design without doupt. :D Encide.net battlebay was pretty amazing, but more interface design tutorials would be pretty amazing and useful for those that would like to start playing with this kind of “art”.

  • http://www.omerercan.com Omer

icon design or text effects are my fav

  • Deano

All your posts are great but I don’t always have time to try out new stuff while I’m working so I archive the posts for future reference when I find something I might like to come back to.

My main problem is that all your posts are titled “PSDTUTS UPDATES”

It would be really helpful if the title of the post described the contents of the e-mail so that I didn’t have to search through them all when looking for something I remember I’ve seen.

E.g.: “Captivating and Amazing Out of Bounds Photo Effects”

If I’m doing something wrong please feel free to educate me.

Other than that please let me pass on my thanks for some stunning material and please keep it up!

    Regards – Deano

    • Deano

BTW: I’m only talking about the new content e-mail messages – not the site.

      Am I just being lazy?

    • http://www.bryan-kun.deviantart.com Bryan G. C.

It’s just a suggestion, but you could start using some kind of RSS Reader, like Google Reader. In GReader the title of the post appears in the body of the update, not just “PSD Updates”.

      • Deano

Bryan, thanks for the helpful advice.

I’m currently achieving the e-mail subscriber posts, the ones that I like (not all but many) my only comment was that they are all titled the same.

        Cheers – Deano

    • Deano

      Thanks guys -

The very next e-mail post had the subject title in the heading – It’s great that you actually listen to your readers comments.

      Great work!

I didn’t think interface design would be at the top after I voted. But now that I have time to think about it, it makes sense.

Many people are in the web design business so it makes total sense that we would want to get fresh new ideas on producing new designs.

Anyways I hope this poll influences you to do more interface tuts….

    Thanks guys

  • arnold

mine is Interface Design but more on creating web layouts

    • Shuaib

Agreeeeeeeed With You…… Some more tuts on Web Layouts…..

  • Marc-Olivier Amyot

I’d like to see less icons design tutorials and more text/3d tutorials and I wouldn’t say no to more interface designs neither ;)

  • http://lovinffhmusic.redbubble.com lovinffhmusic

I enjoy the step-by-step photomanipulation tutorials the most. I’ve learned new techniques for going about my ideas from these, and it’s always a treat to see a new one.

  • http://www.brightwebsitedesign.com/ Ciril Tomy

I think everyone wants to know maximum web related tuts, any types of design or codes or whatever which is current and upcoming web trend people love to read those types of tuts.

I have one opening about this poll options at the top, I don’t understand how he choose these types of categories to vote. (Think practically) I don’t think there are the common choices people want.

  • Ann

Yes, love to see more webtemplates weblayouts

  • Neo Dust

Awwwm no multiple votes. I am working as website designer atm, so I would like to see more interface designs and tools tips. But, I’m also a big fan of photo manipulating and text effects too.

  • Chris Offner

I voted for Interface Design, but I would like to see more tutorials explaining how to integrate it html/css coding than simply the design. I have no problem designing and laying out plans for a web site, but I don’t have the expertise to make my site look exactly like I’d like it, or to add functionality to my designs.

  • Rory

That’s more nettuts though mate. Probably some of those crossover tutorials? Simple xhtml/css isn’t an issue either. I’d like to see crossovers with more complicated and fancy stuff implemented.

    • arnold

I agree with you man, crossover tuts ,
from vectortuts to psdtuts to nettuts

  • E

Does Typography fall under Text Effects??

  • PeP

what u do most is what we like less =\

  • Stu

How about ‘All of the Above’?
    :-)

  • Mihai

    Photo manipulations all the way.

  • fco

    emm.. the free ones?

  • http://www.tripledracing.co.nr Doug

“At Psdtuts, we take your opinions seriously. Not only are you guys our readers, but you are also our authors, and friends. ”

Friends? Most of the free tuts here are full of complaining people, saying its not perfect. If they were my “friends” who said everything I do is poos and wees, I’d probably ditch them.
But then again, those same commentors come back. Hypocritical much?

    ANYWAY, on with the comment.
I really like photomanips, but isnt that on photo.tutsplus.com or something? Since this is photoshop tuts, Interface and Icon design is my top pick.

  • http://oreius.tumblr.com Tanner

I really like the interface design!

Still have not gotten a chance to go through the Interface design Creative Session but can’t wait till I can!

  • http://www.ruimelo.com Rui Melo

A well written one with good results.

  • Stphn

    Text effects!

Can anyone name one good typography tutorial? We need more and better!

    • http://www.vaporizerkits.com Zephyr Ion

I agree with Stphn, although I love all the other tuts (it helps open the mind), I tend to love the beauty of text :)

  • http://dailyaffiliatemarketer.com james weaver

It’s interesting to see that the two choices I was drawn to were the top two in the poll! Either way you guys/gals do a great job! I don’t know what I’d do without sites like this one?!

    Thanks Again,
    James

  • fonchi

Now Psdtuts is just icon stuff or it goes to Premium. NOT GOOD

    • Stphn

      Too true.

  • Norbert

    +1 for interface design !

  • http://www.bestcardprinter.com Jeff Jones

Favourite type of tutorial/s would be Photo effects and also 3D, and really enjoy the tutorials that also use video, Cheers!

  • http://www.justforthealofit.com/ TheAL

I love interface design and photo manipulation.

  • Laura Hogarth

Another vote for interface design here!

  • http://www.craigfordham.net Lisa Thomason

My tutorials I would love to see would be Interface design because of my website background, and Photo manipulation is also excellent! LT

  • Stphn

Why is Interface Design so good? Just a question….

What do people use it for?

  • MASTER

I dont use PSDTut to learn how to draw (iphone, banana or something like that)
Anything beside this, would be cool

    • jake

i agree, if I see another tutorial about bow to create a tv, radio , knife or whatever useless item …please , enough
