I love graphic design, becouse its a form of art. Graphic design is not all stars and shine. Its hard, it involves psyhology, business and many things that you have to atleast know,to be a great graphic designer. To explain my i love graphic design i have to explain how i understand design. Without it the world would be in a very ugly kind of state, becouse design is ant art of beauty, in involves emotion, beauty, getting the right message threw some kind of project and so much more. I love graphic design becouse i can be a part of the small part of people who defines beauty, creates new shapes and faces of it. And makes the world turn with something more than money, something that really matters and it is timeless. For me design, graphic design or art, is the biggest gift that man can get, and that is to create something that is timeless.

Geez.. I cant even begin to describe how I fell for Graphic Designing…

Ive always wanted to follow a career that would enable me to use my drawing skills and when my cousin suggested that I do Graphic Design after I finished my Matric cause I had no Idea what I wanted to do after I decided not to do Chattered Accountancy anymore, I decided to give Graphic Design a shot.

Luckily for me I went to one of the best institutions and I was blown away when I went for open day and saw what I could also be capable of doing after studying the course….

  5. linda says:

Design in general is wonderful because you can create anything, but it’s form and function. Aesthetics and usability…

  6. Ryan says:

I love graphic design because it brings joy and excitement to my life. The things you can do with the programs are just amazing, it is always a learning and growing process for me and I know I must dedicate all my time to become a great graphic design. I want other people who don’t understand graphic design to feel the same way I do about. It is truly an amazing art form that gives so much freedom to express yourself in whatever you want. This is why I love graphic design

  7. rad says:

i love to be graphic designer cause you’re learning every day

  8. Bart says:

I always had something with graphic design. I really started trying out stuff when I was about 14 years old, that’s a little more than 4 years ago. I failed at school because all the theoretic lessons just weren’t interesting enough for me, I wanted more practical stuff. So I quit, and went to a school for computer science, where I am now. They teach us how to program. (e.g. make Windows apps, or webbased apps/sites.)

I do this for almost 2 years now, and in the beginning it was real fun, I thought this would be it, that this would become my job in a few years, but later on I changed my mind. I found out this isn’t exactly what I wanted, so I got myself new plans.

After this training (still 2 more years to go), I’ll go to a school for graphic design, which I’ll hopefully get happy with. I really think graphic design is the thing that attracts me the most, I read alot about it, and all people doing it just seem to be nice to each other, I like that.

I’ll post on twitter on about this.

  9. Dave says:

Because being a Graphic Designer is Freedom, Unlike most jobs, you can explore you creative side and Design what ever pops into you head!

  10. i’m here, as usual :)

  11. Azril says:

i want to be a graphic designer because i cannot be a pilot

  12. http://twitter.com/Toukee/statuses/1910766315

I want to be a graphic designer. More importantly, I want to make something significant that inspires and touches the hearts of others.

Graphic design is always about this, but lately most seems to fall short . .

  13. I love to create. There are moments when I talk with my family members and I just take a piece of paper and I start to draw logos and web site layouts ideas. Is amazing how this thing happen. Actually I made some nice logos just playing.

The creativity is something wich is not a usual thing. Sometimes you get inspered in the evenings, sometimes when you hang out.

Another reason I like to design is because designing is like expressing my fealings and my personality. I love simplicity and this is obviously in my designs.

  14. Sérgio Soares says:

because i simply could create something!

  15. Alin Ivana says:

Great contest, good luck to everyone, keeping thumbs up!

  16. Emiliano says:

Simply because everything in life can be designed.Being a graphic designer allows you to do that, to add the wow factor, the details, the “thing” to transform something general in a unique creation.

  17. Bahzil says:

    In graphic Design we Trust!

  18. SweetyG says:

art makes you can fly in the heaven of freedom with the wings of fantasy…
art is in every moment of my life

  19. Carlitos says:

Graphic Design. Phew, just saying it sparks off creativity. It’s such a broad field incorporating different mediums to form a beautiful piece of art to behold, however it also, perhaps more importantly, is a means of communication. The messages found within Graphic Design masterpieces can leave you at either end of the emotional spectrum. One piece can make you ripe with happiness, while another can make the cogs in your head turn as you think long and hard about the message presented, whether it be topical, philosophical or personal.

My love for Graphic Design could not be fit into one small comment, but I think the above paragraph shows the important reason for why I love Graphic Design. A good looking piece of art, is just a good looking piece of art, but when a message is added to it, it becomes Graphic Design.

  20. Christian says:

I like the freedom I have as an graphic designer. Get my own creativity running and well, working on all kind of projects. It is very nice that the possibilities with printing nowadays are almost endless… I like the personal care where Uprinting stands for. Well they dont call it U (you) printing for nothing I guess :-) Uprinting, I think U rock.

  21. Woooow i wish i will get it =P

  22. Hélder Leal says:

Being a graphic designer, its more than just a job, it’s a way of express my emotions travelling in time and space, exploring my mind and the world using my imagination and exploring my creativity.
Designing it’s like jumping through a window and fly without restrictions. It’s the best way to communicate with myself and the best way to show the world
    through my eyes.

  23. I love graphic design because it is a pseudo-psycho-analyzer. Let me explain. Every time you meet with a client, you are trying to develop a solution. You pick the brain of that person until you find something that they agree on. The colors, layout, and typography all have theories behind them, and you know what they are. You can use that to understand your client and figure out what future solutions will look like. You get inside of the mind of your client.

At the same time, you begin to understand yourself. The design workflow you use, your own personal brand, the weird ticks that you have, etc. They all become a way to find out what your personal style is and how that pertains to the way that you think.

Each time you create something, you open a part of the subconscious. The one pixel difference on the position of an element, or the one degree of rotation are windows to the subconscious.

I love graphic design because it is an understanding. An understanding of each human that you work with, and most importantly yourself.

  24. David says:

The dynamics of being a graphic designer are vast. If it’s mocking a government or bringing awareness to a cause along with all the product advertisement and marketing in between, it’s worth it. It’s purposeful, powerful, and impacting to be such a one with the skills to provoke public reactions.

I’ve been involved and graphic design for quite sometime and have found it to be what I love to do, from the very abstract to the very complex, however, always full of quality. As a graphic designer, I have the ability to create a stir amongst the public or cause people to think deeply in private. Yet what moves me most is that I love what I do and it’s not only a discipline but a means of communication and a blessed craft.

Whether I win or not, I would like to say that I’ve printed with many companies and UPrinting is by far the best in turn around time, color match, and quality. Thank you for your services and unyielding dedication to the industry.

I aspire to be a graphic designer so as to be able to express my creative ideas in a manner that every human can understand in the form of colorful and appealing images and videos.
