Tuts+ is Now Print-tastic!

Those of you who like to follow tutorials on paper while you use Photoshop will be pleasantly surprised today: we’ve added a print stylesheet to the Tuts+ theme. This means that if you navigate to a tutorial and click File > Print in your browser menu-bar the final product will be free of all the extra stuff (sidebars, comments, and so on). We hope you enjoy the new feature and encourage you to try it out!

Even though I already know how to do this, it would make for a good tutorial at Nettuts

  17. Finally! This is a good decision for all your fans out there.

I used to copy/paste your stuff into word and print it from there. The new CSS file give me a huge advantage and makes your content even more valueable.

    nice!!

  19. Josh says:

This is really useful, I much prefer going over tuts on paper so I can highlight sections that need an extra glance or whatnot, or cross out where I’ve got to on a longer one :_)

If you were to print out the previous tutorial, “Creating a Touching Story Scene in Photoshop”, it would take 68 pages portrait and 88 pages landscape. This would be insane to follow one tutorial and since many of the tutorials are quite lengthy, the page count would undoubtedly remain high. I do like that you’ve added the option so that perhaps someone can print part of a tutorial, but I don’t think it’ll be one that is very useful when it comes to the entire tutorial.

Incredulous with all these people who have Adobe software don’t take advantage of the print to pdf.

Thanks for cleaning it up, I got tired of having to go through and telling which pages to print to pdf because with all the comments some of them got boring sifting through them.

  22. Toon says:

Wow, you didn’t have this yet? That surprises me.

  23. CK says:
