Hmm, i think these questions were from Martin’s interview talking about Adobe’s certification.
What a fantastic teacher you are, they way you explain and talk about anything related to design sounds so natural.
I think the most painful part is to remember all the keyboard shortcuts,i was thinking lately to give it a try for the certification expertise

Missed #1?!?!?! I can’t change the opacity of multiple selected layers… I am using CS4 though, is this something that is possible in CS5?
yes, it is cs5 only.
Same. I missed 1 cause I’m using Cs4. The question is not specific.
Yea um cmd/ctrl does NOT let me use free transform when in perspective mode… i’m on CS5.
Otherwise awesome quiz! I didn’t know a couple of them and they were actually really helpful to find out! (H+click = awesome!)

I think these are less a measurement of Photoshop proficiency, but more of obscure Photoshop trivia.
I’ve led teams of graphic designers and during interviews I would never dream of asking applicants what filter doesn’t work on a Smart Object. But I WOULD give them a photo and ask them to extract the flyaway hair from the background.
One is trivial knowledge
the other is a useful skill
Which is better to measure?
And just exactly how do you propose to have someone extract flyaway hair here? :P

Hey guys,
Grant forgot to say these questions are related to Photoshop CS5. Most of them are true in previous versions as well, but they are intended to be similar to the questions you will find in Adobe Certified Expert exams, and they are always written for the latest version of course.

Ok I see it now. Loaded the page in Google Chrome.. for whatever reason it was not loading in IE 8 / PC.
90%! The first five were simple though – not because I’m at all knowledgeable, but because I remembered them from Martin’s interview. :)

Im 15 years old, using photoshop for 4 years, but in photoshop cs5 some of the answers can be different but still 80%, missed 1st and 5th question,but im proud of myself :D

I guess the answer of the first question is either wrong, or I can’t do it in CS4 :D

I liked this one better than the previous… Although I thought I would get a really bad score, like 50% or lower, but I got 70 % and was pleasantly surprised. I use CS3 and I was a bit confused by the first question as well, but I didn’t really know, so I just went with what seemed to make sense, lol.
Oh, and btw, this is a great way to learn guys! It teaches things in a concise way! Thanks!
