As you know, we here at Psdtuts+ are absolutely and totally committed to being the best place for Photoshop junkies to click to. Flames are particularly hard to render in Photoshop, but in this tutorial I’ll show you how to use a photograph of fire to set text to the match. We’ll render the look on a nice dark background with a gorgeous text effect to complete the image.

Photoshop is great for embellishing display text with little effects. When you add layer styles into the equation, you have the added benefit of the styles being easily transferable. Today we’ve had to unfortunately remove a tutorial due to copyright issues. As all creatives should, we take copyright very seriously here at Psdtuts+. The tutorial in question has been removed, the author has not been paid, and I’ll personally be investigating further to get in touch with the original author to apologize and ensure everything is sorted out.
