Again a great little tutorial. Not difficult to figure out and do but a very nice finish to it so well done.

I think perhaps you have missed out a small step though where you have created the grid and then in the next image you have a grid without edges. You have in the image the marquee selecting one of the images which you would have then deleted but it wasn’t mentioned. It’s fairly obvious what you have done but some people may get confused.

Easily fixable though

I’ve noticed the site had some amazing tutorials to start with, but lately the quality has greatly depreciated. It seems the site is going for a quantity vs quality path.

It seems like there are alot of people here that are quite good at Photoshop judging by the flickr group but the tutorials are almost insulting. Color adjustment and super simple logos are not the way to go, if you guys could provide some more quality tutorials like you guys started with that would be great.

I love the effect where you have shiny drops of light amongst the grid lines… but i haven’t the slightest idea how to go about doing that myself… can anyone help?

- The only reason why i’m posting this is because i have seen many PSDTUT visitors complain about the quality of these tutorials. For me every single tutorial matters, and by simply altering PSDTUT method in the tutorial above, i created a different effect for the cover page which was first all black.

So my point is tht user need to calma down and remember that even a small twist in a tutorial which might not seem much for the time being can be very helpful in kept in mind for the right time.

@Robbert: They just translated it, the final picture clearly shows the PSDtuts logo. I don’t speak that language but the last sentence seems to be a disclaimer: “Originele tutorial is te vinden op PSDTuts.com”
