Music often serves as inspiration for my designs. The title, lyrics, or even the rhythm of the song can be used as the basis of an idea. In today’s tutorial, I will demonstrate how to create a grungy, organic composition in Photoshop using stock images and other assets. Let’s get started! Log in or Join Now to get started!
Professional and Detailed Instructions Inside
Premium members can Log in and Download! Otherwise, Join Now! Below are some sample images from this tutorial.

Psd Premium Membership
As you know, we run a premium membership system here that costs $19 a month which gives members access to the Source files for tutorials as well as periodic extra tutorials, like this one! You’ll also get access to Net Premium and Vector Premium, too. If you’re a Premium member, you can log in and download the tutorial. If you’re not a member, you can of course join today!

FTW!! WTF is that? best tut!!
That’s wicked. I’m glad still having my premium account. Great work Teddy!
Not a fan of photo comps since they are usually more distracting than visually appealing, but this one has great aesthetics and almost flawless cohesion of elements. Well done!
Agree 100% with both statements.
Agree 67% with both statements.
Agree 38.4% with statement one.
76.7% with statment two
Awesome work :)
I like a lot your final product !!
Wicked cool! Nicely done sir
Nice but do I need to be able to sketch on paper first? Did u use a tablet here?
it’s up to you…. i use tablet, for the sketch & doodle things i made it manually using pencil and pen
This seems very hard. It is rated Advanced. Picture takes 6-7 hours to create! Quote:”WTF”
It’s rated advanced because it IS hard.
Heaven forbid you actually spend more than 10 minutes on something.
it’s look Pretty Good !
Good Job :D
One of the best tutorials here. Outstanding job!
Beautiful result !!!
The “Photo” snapshot with the 3 paper and 2 pen and 2 pencil is 3D?? Correct??
Nope. it’s actually the real things :)
Time to renew my account. Nice Work.
I just did for the same reason…
It looks lovely! I would well put it on my wall! Great Job
This is a really stunning composition, congrats :)
One thing though ; the style and positioning of the text don’t work for me. It would be so much better without text or with a less blocky font to compliment the artwork.
Is is necessary to purchase the stock images or assets used in the tutorial from a separate site, or are these included?
Would like to know this too :)
sorry for a long reply, just noticed this comment. all files included on the tutorial
Damn that is sick!!
F i’m not a premium.
it’s look Pretty Good !
WOW! I feel like learning it >.< but I have no premium.
wow.. another indonesian mentor ^^; congrats for the tuts!
hi i like your style
nice work.
I have 5 – 7 Hours free tonight. I think I need to get a bottle of wine and have a look at this tutorial. It looks brilliant!
i like this …..
I like your style too and i’m guessing this is yours as well

Nice Work
well…. i downloaded the source files and instructions but on the source files you can’t modify anything! it’s like… locked. so i tried to copy the bird and i just couldn’t or it wouldn’t let me.
any ideas as to why is this… and why as “premium” member don’t have access to the videos from this “tutorial”… well… then it’s NOT really premium. it should be named “BASIC” membership.
that;’s very misleading, but i guess i should talk to the admin about this issue. thanks
Probably one of the best tuts on here, my only complaint is that it is not done any justice without having a screencast to show the amount of detailing and technique that was used.
Since it is more advanced and says about 5-7hrs to create… maybe doing this or a similar style screencast in smaller videos and make it a session series? Look forward to finding more tuts like this one on here.
Nice tut, but to hard for me, i am just a beginner.
I try many tutorials, but only few of them really work for me:P
