Really nice screen cast . I like it very much.
Cool tutorial.
Very cute, I will have to try this one out!
I enjoyed this video :)
simple and sweet, thanks!
A good Icon tutorial. :)
Been following pst tuts for years and it seems to be going downhill. PSDtuts used to be full of fantastic original tutorials, but now is full of interviews and ‘how to make a [insert random object you will probably never need to make here]‘
Do whatever it is you have to do to attract authors who have skills.
PS: no offence to the above author. we all know you are skilled Gavin.
None taken. I think the thing to remember is that the site caters for all abilities and all the different areas within design. There are a lot of top designers who make a good living designing icons and the like. So there are lots of people who are interested in learning how to create there own icons and maybe one day make a living out of it. Others just want to learn every aspect of using Photoshop, they try all the tutorials and then go on to apply the techniques in other projects.
I understand that it can be frustrating when you love say, typography and you want new tutorials focused on that every week. All I can do is suggest holding on a little, the tutorial your wanting is on its way… maybe not today, but when it gets here you will love it.
I for one would love more webdesign tutorials! lol but there are lots of you out there that have had enough of them and want more graphic design tutorials. Psdtuts definitely hear you and they have the best authors around!
Thanks for commenting!
Gavin
thanx it’s good tuts .
Great tutorial :) Awesome techniques which learned me a lot new things!
Thanks Gavin! I used to do icons regularly, and was pretty good and these tutorials help to brush up on my skills, and even increase the enthusiasm to not loose the skills I already have.
Hi Gavin, why not all shapes instead of raster elements?
