This looks really fun! Beautiful drawing too.

This is a very good tutorial even though I won’t be attempting it because I can’t draw, I liked how you started it, with the concept, using rule of composition, finding a picture, printing it, griding it, showing us what pencil tip to use, this is a well thought out and executed tutorial, I wish I could draw, it is so well explained, looks like so much thought going into every screen shot and picture you took, even taping your hand, thank you, you.

I would’ve cancelled my tutplus subscription if they didn’t step up their premium content this week because I was so p******d off by what was released as premium last week.

I look forward to seeing more stuff from you.

You can draw, all you have to do is practice (:

OMG you should see some of drawings for school projects, we’re always required to produce a storyboard for any type of video work, and when I did attempt, it was appalling, now what I do is after the shoot,I put my paper on the monitor and trace out the images….

You’ve got some skills, just visited your site :)

    That illustration looks amazing!

One thing I don’t understand is who is the target for this tutorial? Everyone I know that has such skill level of illustration, know all the techniques presented in the final artwork here for sure.

Please don’t get me wrong, I apreciate following artists workflows, and I really think the illustration here is awesome, I just wondered if someone who is far from drawing like this is going to feel pleased or frustrated by following it.

I wonder if i hold a pencil like him, I can draw better!

I was thinking the same thing. But this is a proof he started learning to draw by himself, in artists classes the teachers force you to grip the pencil in a single way. After a few years of practice, that grip becomes natural and he draws just like you and me. I have a friend who has the same grip and does a fantastic work.

Lol, yeah. I’ve just always held pencils like that… I dunno why, it just feels more natural. Thanks for the comments.

Also, this tutorial is for anyone who is looking to practice their drawing skills, and would like to make a photoshop illustration of of what they create. The way it is set up (gridding and such) makes it so that even inexperienced drawers can make something pretty decent.
