The word “SNOW” on the ball is not wrong?
Why you people only puting premium tutorials from so many continuos days ..pls put some good video tutorials for general public its my request from Tutsplus.com team
Because they just rolled out the new premium program and they want to add value to it for people like myself and others who DO pay for their hard work and effort to teach us something new all the time. I mean they are paying people to keep this stuff coming, the little money they are charging is worth it for what they offer. But that’s just my opinion.
the word Snow is wrong it should be reflected on the ball.
Yessss :)
Er… the reflection is correct, I think you’ve been looking at other reflection tutorials where the an object that sits on top of a reflective plain has a reversed image below it. That is not the case here. The text is floating some way in front of the globe and the back side of the text is being reflected on the front of the globe, that is exactly how it should be – you can always set up the scene in a 3D modelling program like Blender if you don’t believe me with the text in front of a reflective sphere.
This looks great! But I do agree, I think the Snow text reflection would look better upside down and adjusted properly.
It looks really nice!
Adam is right, the reflection is correct, although it could do with a touch more distortion :)
