what do you mean? Fan art is simply art made by a fan isn’t it?

Hmmm thanks for taking the time out to do this tutorial and my rant is not directed at you but at tutplus editor, what exactly makes a psd plus tutorial?

I’m a plus member and there are months that go by and I don’t download but still keep subscribing, but if I’m only downloading one plus tutorial every 3 weeks or so then maybe I need to cancel my monthly subscription, the membership is cheap and $9 is nothing since I don’t smoke nor drink but maybe I need to look elsewhere, if anyone knows a good premium site that offers better quality pls let me know.

Why don’t you guys ask your premium members what they would like to see, create a poll or survey, I waited a whole week only to see something that in my opinion shouldn’t be premium, some of the free stuff are way better than your premium, maybe it’s a case of hit and miss, I don’t know but pls cater more to paying members and stop pulling wool over our eyes by labelling mediocre tutorials premium. Webdesign+ is free and I personally get more from there than here.

Premium should make non paying members leave comments like “damn I’m about to buy a subscription because of this” if no one is saying that then you should know you’re releasing some sub par contents, how can preium contents only have 2 or 3 comments, the best tutorials on these sites usually have 30+, some as much as 100+

I never thought I’d see the day I’ll be complaining about tutplus.

      I agree with mxl.
Please think twice before you post it, editor. Only 50% of premium content worth the price.
If you don’t have enough high quality tutorials, I suggest you should (1) charge less money and post less premium content (2) pay more to great authors.

I’m sorry, but I wouldn’t pay for a tutorial that has that outcome. Extremely sloppy coloring and dull effects…

Excuse me, but even if this was a ‘regular’ tutorial I wouldn’t be amased. No offense to the author, I appreciate the time you take to teach us stuff, but its just a bit below the level of normal skills for tutorials, expecially for a premium tutorial. I wouldn’t buy it to be honest…

first of all, I love dota and thanks for your tut,
but I think you are trying to portay “murlock” leaping right ? *the bottom* character, but from a digital newb point of me *me* , I don’t think that was made well in this illustration, When I saw the title, seeing premium, I thought there were textures and stuff involved but it turns out you’re style is more of a 2d cell shaded style right? anyway this is nice too.

Despite all the bashing in the comments above, the tutorial is quite fun to read. It’s actually nice to go wild on whatever floats your boat to draw whatever you want without being criticized (pun intended!) The workflow may not be perfect or the poses a bit off, but in the end, the tutorial reminds us why we started using Photoshop in the first place: to have fun!

So let’s get back to our first day of Photoshop with the knowledge gained so far and let’s have some fun… again! Who’s with me ?
