This Premium Tutorial is Filled with Creative Tips
Without a doubt, my favourite new feature in Photoshop CS5 is the Mixer brush. When you see the demos of people using it, it looks great, but when I first got to use it, I was a bit confused. Each brush has 5 different attribute settings and then another 4 canvas settings to get your head around. In this tutorial I will take you through some of the mixer brush settings and demonstrate how to use them to make a fantasy based image with 2 of the biggest rats ever to blight a city.

So this is for CS5 users only? I’ve got 4…I’ve got my tablet but haven’t really used it, wish it was for four, got sometime off from uni, well till october, need to get my skills up

You guys should know that in digital painting, tutorial is just only 10%, all the rest is drawing skill. And If you couldn’t do drawing with a pencil & a paper, don’t even think about buying a graphic tablet or do this tutorial. It doesn’t look that easy, seriously. There’re many free basic digital painting tutorials on DeviantArt that you should try 1st before doing this.
