Yeah, we love this series :D
    And we want more!

  • Lorenzo Pozza

    thanks!

  • Chris

maybe you need some reflection in the water of the castle?
other than that its a nice mix of illustration an photography.

  • Jelly_Bam

    Excellent tutorial, thanks!
To finalize, would be nice to add a gradient map and a few color correction layers so it merges better.

  • Dave

Great series Martin :D I’m sad it’s over :( I’m looking forward the the whatever other tutorial you may have planned for us!

  • Trevor

Well done again and keep them coming

  • Richard

Awsome, the series was wonderful I’m always excited to learn knew things and you always have wonderful approaches to the various situations you demonstrate. There’s so many possibilities, and I wish you could produce a tutorial for it all. In the caricature tutorial for example something as simple as locking the transparency to the lineart to color over the black in certain parts was something that may have either taken me a long time to think of or maybe I never would. It’s great that your willing to share your very valuable experience and insight with us. I’m very much looking toward to any tutorials you produce in the future. I’ve been following them since your basix series when I was a little greener to the world of photoshop and your definitely one of my favorite tutorial producers in this subject. On a side note i always thought it was kinda of cool how you always ended your videos with what I would consider your catch phrase “thanks a lot for your attention” very cool accent, lol anyway great job Martin I look forward to learning more from you in the future.

Kind of as an afterthought but I certainly would appreciate a tutorial or two focusing more on colors. I know its a very broad subject but it’s just hard to decide on the colors when painting or drawing. Food for thought anyway, thanks again for all the wonderful tutorials.

      Hi Richard,

Thanks a lot, I’m glad you find my tutorials useful and you have learn new things from me. I always thought that what you share with others stays with you forever, while things you keep to yourself will be lost sooner or later. I’m planning to continue the digital painting series either here on PSDtuts or on my blog and I’m always producing more and more tutorials so keep checking back for more. Thanks a lot for your attention mate :)

      Cheers,
      Martin

Oh please show tools and layers next time. My drawing is good and I was watching it for tools and how to use them. I hope you will take care next time. But nice painting.

  • Christoffer

Thank you so much Martin, I have since i can remember been interested in drawing, but sadly I was the only one in my family not to get that gift. But with this, I feel like there is hope afterall. so i’ve ordered a bamboo tablet as you suggested and I can’t wait for it to arrive.
Anyway, great tutorials, your students are lucky to have a teacher with such skills and ability to keep the subject interesting. Can’t wait for your next tutorial (If there will be one).
And once again, Thanks a lot!
