Are you new to Photoshop? Have you been trying to teach yourself the basics of Photoshop but have found the amount of educational material available on the net a bit overwhelming? As the world’s #1 Photoshop site, we’ve published a lot of tutorials. So many, in fact, that we understand how overwhelming our site may be to those of you who may be brand new to Photoshop. This tutorial is part of a 25-part video series demonstrating everything you will need to know to start working in Photoshop.

Photoshop Basix, by Adobe Certified Expert and Instructor, Martin Perhiniak includes 25 short video tutorials, around 5 – 10 minutes in length that will teach you all the fundamentals of working with Photoshop. Today’s tutorial, Part 23: Aligning and Blending Images Together will explain auto-align and blend, panoramic photos, and montages of movement. Let’s get started!

Thank you, pretty useful information on Photoshop. Inspired to create some images. All the books I use on the Photoshop get really complicated, not so many illustrations. “Picture is worth a thousand words” Anyway, take care and I will continue to read on.

Awesome tutorial Martin! Concise, direct and to the point. Exactly how a tutorial should be! Thanks a lot man.

Excellent tips, as always. I did a similar piece to the movement montage before, but in a rather round-about way, using the eraser tool, but this align and blend technique is much quicker and easier. :D

    Hi,
I use cs6 and in Photoshop the mini bridge does not have the same tools button. Is there another way I can load files into photoshop layers in photoshop cs6 or is using bridge cs6 the only way to do so..

    Thanks

    • https://www.facebook.com/h.farazmukhtar Hafiz Faraz Mukhtar

      window > workspace > new in Cs6
then in the right panel you will have your mini bridge option. Click on that to launch mini bridge.
      hope it helps.
