In this Psd Premium tutorial, author Tony Aube will demonstrate how to turn the image we created in Part 1 into a snowy post-apocalyptic matte painting. i don’t get it Why is part one not a PSD Premium but part two is? is this some kind off marketing rip off..
    i don’t agree…

    • michael owens

      Clearly a marketing ploy.
One that is unfortunately, a sick and twisted attempt to get ‘n00bs’ to want to pay, just to get at part 2.

Its tricks like that this that turn me off ever becoming a premium member. Not too mention, that tutorials like this, and others that are premium (including video tuts) are available online for NO charge.

The only difference here, is that they appear to be…. well, conceited about helping their userbase learn.

I love snow effects very much

  • fractafrog

Two things, one major flaw and one tiny detail ;-)

    1. The shadows are way too sharp with a such low-light and overcast sky.

    2. How did the person get there? I see no tracks on the ground nor on the bus. Sure, it is possible that the person walked on that narrow piece of ground without snow and then climbed up on the bus where we can’t see it (on the other side of the person) but it would have added a nice touch of reality to see some tracks in the snow.
