Hey Dan, I edited out the time it took for Photoshop to open. No reason to make you guys wait while Photoshop is loading.

Thats a nice feature! I’ve got one question: Auto Recovery…nice, but sometimes, a pc or laptop can crash or the electricity is down because of who knows what. And in CS5, i can’t find my project back from the “recent opened”. Does it also recover your project ?

Finally something for the people too stupid to remember to press ctrl+s every few minutes.

any way to cancel the background saving while it’s happening? can’t seem to find a cancel button or anything…

I don’t think there’s a way to cancel in the middle of a save but you can just disable the feature all together if you don’t like it.

Auto recovery didn’t worked for me once (1/2). It crashed, and I opened it to see old work without 2 hours of progress.
    Nothing’s perfect.

    Hey,

I have Acer Timeline 5830T Model with Intel Graphic Card 821 MB. Photoshop says its not officially supported and if you experience any problem uncheck using it in Perfomance Tab.

Why don’t they support the Intel’s Graphic Card???

Nice feature!! But there is another scenario in which the file data has been save but you are unable to access it. This is very popular issue now. The main reason behind the inaccessible PSD file is corruption. I want to recommend all those users who are unable to access corrupt file, should try third party PSD Repair Software. The most popular tool is Stellar Phoenix PSD Repair!!
