Please make more tutorials on YouTube and embed them here. Using the blip.tv player is like going to hell and back… ;)

This was a really helpful tut! Some of those features were not known by me before this. I will definitely start using these fill shortcuts.

    So, thank you!

Great stuff! However, the shortcut to apply the background color to selected text (in PS CS 5.5 on Win 7), Ctrl-backspace, deletes the selected text. What am I doing wrong? Alt-backspace works.

Is there any download link to video? Due to some reasons video is streaming for me. Thanks

This was incredibly helpful but didn’t work for me. I am using CS6 on a brand new Macbook Pro and when I tried to change the font color to the foreground color with the option/backspace command, it just kerned the letters closer together and with the command/backspace command, the letters kerned further apart. Also the shift/backspace command did not pull up the fill dialog box. I am so disappointed! Am I missing something here?

when your cursor is somewhere inbetween the letters of the text, option/backspace will indeed change the kerning of the letters. Make sure you do not have a cursor anywhere in the text (use the Move tool or something else). Then it should work!

Ok, so my 14 year old son pointed out to me that I was using the Back Arrow key instead of the Delete (or Backspace) key. However the Shift/Backspace key still did not bring up the fill dialogue box. Suggestions anyone?
