Design a High Impact Gig Poster Suitable for Screen-Printing – Screencast

Oct 28th in Screencasts by Gavin Steele

"Screen-prints are a great way to exhibit artworks or advertise a gig. Creating a high impact poster suitable for the screen-printing process can be achieved relatively easily. In this instance, we're going for a stylized and coarse effect, rather than a photo-realistic halftone interpretation of a design. So let's create a 3-color design that looks great on screen, printed from your home printer, or screen-printed using the silk-screen printing method." - James Davies

nice video tutorial! It’s always great to see how others work in photoshop. I do think it’s quicker to just “rasterize” the type instead of select it and fill it.

Can’t you put the videos on another feed? I would love to have the tutorials only, if possible.

I followed the tut on the blog, got stuck on a few things and did not do it as good as yours. I will follow your video tut and get it right this time.

Thank you for sharing this excellent technique.
